• Project Engineer for the successful completion of the design and development of the electronics for the TAT-4000, a hand held, infrared sensing, body temperature-measuring instrument.

• Utilizing the analog and digital trouble-shooting skills developed during previous positions in design/development and field service engineering, determined the "root cause", to the component level, of failures in industrial process monitoring transducers and sensors.

• By applying reverse engineering techniques to the previously designed sub-assemblies of a Hydrogen Maser Clock intended for orbit in space, determined the functionally critical parameters of these sub-assemblies, designed custom test equipment for their verification and prepared the test documentation detailing the procedures required.

• Designed a discrete micro-power system, for use by the telephone company at each subscriber s location, which allows the phone company to determine and differentiate between communication problems in the line and in the subscriber s facility.

• Designed, for a bio-electronically controlled prosthetic limb, a miniature high gain, low noise, low power preamplifier for detection, amplification and bandwidth limiting of the biological electrical signals myoelectronic from the muscles of an amputee s residual arm.

• Designed and developed a complete, ultrasonic kilohertz carrier range handheld speech communications transmitter / receiver system which utilized the acoustic propogation of an amplitude modulated ultrasonic carrier thru metallic structures.

Supervised and was a part of an electronics design team specializing in the development of underwater acoustics sonar electronic systems.

• Developed, installed and tested at-sea:
  • Sonar system for shallow water survey and mapping of the ocean.
  • Multi-channel sonar transmitter for a deep-water survey and mapping.
• Designed, developed and built prototype multi-channel sonar receiver.
