Description : Government of India has employed NIIT Ltd., Calcutta, India, to computerize the working of the state Accountants General offices in the states of the Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The entire product will consist of various modules pertaining to the different section of the A.G Offices. The integrated software will provide all monthly departmental reports and yearly financial reports. So there is a high degree of dependency among all modules to achieve the end objective. The entire workings of the state AG office starting from the initial entry of the vouchers and challans received from the state treasuries and state/central government departments till the final settlement of the accounts and reporting to the CAG at New Delhi will be covered in the scope of the project. The project has comprises of Departmental Compilation activity, Accounting for Public Works and Forest divisions, Accounting for inter state transactions as well as accounting for transactions of the state with Central government departments/Reserve Bank of India, Loans and deposits of the state etc.

Description : Singapore Sports Board had employed NIIT Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., Singapore, to study and analysis the existing sports facilities reservation system. Sports facilities Reservation System SFRS will be developed to facilitate the computerized bookings of Singapore Sports Complex SSC facilities for different kinds of customers and different kinds of events. SSC has various types of facilities e.g. Stadiums, Sports Halls, Swimming Complexes etc. which can be booked by various sports associations, Government and private organizations and individuals for different purposes. Each facility may house a number of courts, pools, fields etc. SSC provides the accessories/misc. items required on their facilities to conduct the events that can also be booked by the customers. Apart from that, SSC sells commodities like swim caps, towels, admission tickets to Golf and Gymnasium. SFRS would be able to take care of all such bookings and commodity selling. SFRS would also help SSC to study trends about utilization of their facilities by means of management reports. SFRS will provide a one-stop and cross-center booking of sport facilities.

Role : Module Leader of Equipment Tracking System ETS

Description : Geuters Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore, world famous news agency, had employed NIIT Ltd, Calcutta, India, to develop an integrated system comprising of Equipment Tracking System ETS and Purchase Planning System PPS in ORACLE 7.3/Developer 2000. Equipment Tracking System ETS deals with the equipment movement among various centres. This movement is recorded by the various transaction documents. Equipment Tracking System ETS will handle In-house and Subscriber Opening Balance Maintenance & Opening Balance Closing, Batch Transaction, Opening Balance Adjustment, General Adjustment, Batch Transaction Posting, Month End Processing, Fixed Asset Relocation of equipment among various Centres & Locations. This system will generate various MIS reports as well as transaction reports. This system allows users to create & revoke user, take backup and perform many other necessary administrative activities.

Responsible For : As a team leader I was responsible for technical assessment, planning & scheduling, analysis, design, development, user acceptance testing UAT , implementation, training and technical support.

Description : Visha Alloys & Steels Division, Visha Martin Industries Ltd., Jamshedpur, comprised of four plants, namely Mini Blast Furnace MBF , Steel Melting Shop SMS , Wire Rods Mill WRM and Captive Power Plant CPP had employed UBEST to develop integrated information system for the maintenance activities of the entire organization using client/server technology. This will help maintenance team to organize, plan and monitor maintenance activities of four plants to increase equipment reliability, productivity and to increase profitability. CMMS was a total on - line computer software solution encompassing all the Maintenance activities e.g., Preventive, Corrective, Predictive & Breakdown Maintenance, Shutdown, Overhauling, Condition Based Monitoring etc. This project was developed to cover all the main activities of Maintenance Management, Stores, Purchase and Quality Assurance such as Maintaining Standards Register, Planning, Scheduling, Job Order Generation and Monitoring, Work Order Generation and Monitoring, Equipment Breakdown, Spare Parts Manufacturing & Conditioning, Materials Inventory & Control System, Purchase, Maintenance Information Management.

This system generates various daily/weekly/monthly transaction reports as well as MIS reports.

This was a total on - line computer software solution encompassing all the activities of a manufacturing unit like Accepting Customer Inquiry, Equipment Quotation Generation, Bill of Materials Preparation, Estimation, Sales Order Generation, Production Planning, Job Scheduling, Job Order Generation, Inspection, Purchase Order Generation, Despatch, Vendor Rating, Material Management, Payroll etc. This project was consisted of 10 modules - Engineering, Estimate, Purchase, Stores, Inspection & Quality Assurance IQA , Production Planning & Control PPC , Despatch, Finance, P & A and Payroll. This system was developed to streamline the organization s information flow and to eliminate many of the redundant manual operations. Provisions were made to provide all necessary MIS reports and to prepare and maintain ISO-9001 documents.
