Description : Medical Records Department maintains all the data of the patients. This project stores all the information in a database, which has 8 tables in it. The retrieval, modification of the data is done by the user through the forms. Six forms are used in the project. The project has four modules namely General, Inpatient, Outpatient, Reports.
General: This module takes all the details regarding the patient such as registration number, which is generated automatically and is unique, name address etc. This module also provides modification of existing patients and addition of new patient information. Searching for the registration number of existing patient can be done easily through search for the option.
Outpatient: All the details such as provisional diagnosis number, unit number etc. is taken for the patients that are treated outside of Hospitals. The registration number in this module is reflected from the General module.
Inpatient: If the patient is admitted into the hospital, all the details such as provision diagnosis number, discharge status, ward, unit etc. are gathered. If the patient is refereed from court this module also takes care of sending letter to the court. Regarding his discharge and the present status.
Reports: There are lots of reports used for monthly, yearly, fortnight etc. which are taken care here.
