Computer Experience and Projects

Have full life-cycle B2B Database design and development experience. Designed logical and physical data models for telecommunication applications. Developed the application schema creation scripts. Developed the system and data migration processes from an object-oriented database Versant to the RDBMS database in Oracle 8i and 9i. Utilized ERWIN to describe the complicate relationships among the telecommunication business objects. Experienced with mapping object-oriented application to relational model. Wrote SQL scripts to extract the BLOB data both from VERSANT object-oriented database and ORACLE RDBMS database and expanded and loaded the objects into relational tables through SQL*Loader for reporting. Programmed the scripts for reporting using SQL scripts and crystal report. Load data into multiple databases for development or testing purposes. Documented the Database schema and Data Export Guide for all the applications. Designed end user queries and reports, participated in end GUI design and GUI development selection. Implemented complex PL/SQL scripts to conduct data migration, error handling and reporting. Switched databases configurations for the different purposes for data migration, for data warehouse, and for online transaction . Tuned Oracle performance. Troubleshoot the system. Developed the data validation tool using Oracle Form and the conversion report using Oracle Report.

Wrote SQL, PL/SQL programs including triggers and stored procedures for a Oracle-based Web HR database. Tuned the Oracle database performance.
