Coordinating a joint performance of the QA Department with Corporate Services and Business Capabilities departments. Performed a wide variety of different tests against functionality, usability, design and performance of a 3-tier architecture software. System included an ORACLE DB server, a SUN NetDynamics Application server, that is also utilizes MS IIS services and a client connecting to an application via Internet browser IE 5.5, Netscape Communicator 4.7 . System also included DCOM server. Performed installation, configuration and implementation testing of the whole 3-tier system on a weekly basis as soon as new build comes up . Wrote detailed Test strategies, Test Cases and Test Approaches. Trained a team of junior-level testers according to those Test Approaches. Constantly maintained DB Server and Application server side of the system. Participated in White box testing of a C++, Java and Powerbuilder codes. Worked closely to DBA team and Development Team. Performed functional, interoperability, regression and configuration testing of company-developed packages designed to be inserted as add-on tools into Windows NT operating system.Performed manual software installation and desktop configurations testing so as network-based SMS package delivery and auto install testing. Duties included documentation reviewing and analysis. Communication with developing team and CMT Change Management team is provided on the daily basis. Performed functional, regression, end-to-end and usability testing of Client-Server Software. Application used Windows NT clients with ORACLE Database. Wrote, updated and executed test cases manually, executed test scenarios using Visual Test as an automation tool. Duties included documentation reviewing and analysis. Wrote, followed and verified bug reports using company s internet-based WEB site. Worked closely with project management teams and neighboring projects testing teams to ensure better quality of delivered products, as they were part of one general project.
