 INTERNSHIP

The Portnov Computer School has established Software Testing/QA internship programs with many software companies, located throughout Silicon Valley, and the list keeps growing.

Participation in the internship program is very important in improving marketability of our graduates and their job search. About 20-25% of internships result in job offers extended by the companies where you work as an intern.

Since many students are working full tome supporting themselves their ability to participate in full-time internships is very limited or non-existent. To accommodate needs of graduates who cannot commit to full-time internship we have an ongoing internship on the school premises. The school operates as a testing site for several real life development projects. That internship is available to each student in a good standing. Upon completion participants (interns) are eligible for our regular internship program.

The Intern positions could be budgeted or not. The length of internship varies from one month to three month based on particular assignment.

To qualify for internship at least two classes should be taken and successfully completed. One of the two required classes is Software Quality Assurance. Second required class should be taken in either one of the Test Automation tools, Technology, or UNIX.

Based on your professional background and education School counselor will suggest you which classes to take in order to get benefited most from the internship.

To learn more about the internship detail, please, contact the School officials.
