QA Flex is a night time (7-pm – 11 pm) career change program with flexible completion time based on the time students can allocate for learning. Most of the students in that program are working day-time, which makes them more sensitive to scheduling issues.

QA Internship with a local technology company (provided by the School) is included into QA Flex program.

The program includes three courses, which are recommended by the school counselor based on student’s education and work experience. Each course takes 10 4-hours sessions to complete. All the sessions of same course are scheduled on same week day, one session per week.

The courses in that program normally include:

• Software Quality Assurance course (40 hours) is required for that program
• Web Technology Course is taken by 90% of QA Flex students, but it might be replaced by another course upon student passing the placement test successfully. The course takes 40 hours to complete and it includes fundamentals of HTML, JavaScript, SQL, XML, Virtual Machines, Networking delivered from the Software QA perspective.
• Test Automation with Selenium (40 hours), which could be replaced by another course such as Web Applications Testing, QTP, UNIX-Shell-Perl

Software testing project (25 hours) is also included in that program to give students more confidence and better marketability at the time of internship interviews.

Online self-paced classes are made available to the students at no extra charge (UNIX, Perl, Shell, Mobile Applications Testing, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Selenium IDE)

Resume and interview preparation, job placement assistance, individual job market navigation counseling are all a part of the QA Flex program.

Student get access to numerous videos and webinars recorded in our classrooms and in our online instructor-facilitated training programs.
