The school gave a clear idea of the profession of a tester and a wide range of tools used in manual and automated testing. Well-organized training system, interesting speakers, a large amount of practice. Quick help with administrative issues and support in the employment process. Ideal for entering, understanding and further development in testing. It doesn’t give false hope.

There is a reason why so many people around the country move to California (like me) and choose Portnov Computer School among other schools – it is simply the best place to start career in Software Testing. I came here from New York and I think it was one of my best decisions I made in my life. Students here receive all the fundamentals and more to start their careers in IT world. The learning process is so enjoyable and all instructors are real professionals. Students have opportunities to work on real Web or Mobile applications, so by the time they finish all the classes, they feel confident about their technical skills. The whole curriculum is a mix of theory and practice at the same time. The only sad thing is when the classes are over and you start missing the studying vibes, colleagues and teachers.

Great school to enter the IT world.

I attended a full time SQA course. All the material is very well organized and delivered so that both people who are new in the field and those who have experience in IT can learn modern SQA. The instructors are very professional and helpful, ready to help everyone. I got my job in the field within the first month after graduation. I am very much grateful.

Got an offer during the month

I am an alumnus from 2019.When I graduated Covid started and the market was down. In that time I decided to move far from QA for a while. Then after 2 years 2022, I went back, passed clearance, received my resume, and got an offer during the month. I want to thank Mikhail Portnov and his team; all of my teachers Janna and Olga, especially .Thanks to all of the school workers Sofia Pravdina especially , even after 2 years, they supported me as a new alumni. I joined PCS, unsure about the move at first, but willing to work hard and take a leap of faith. The teachers, Janna, Olga, Sofia, Michael and Artem, have solid knowledge of their subjects and have a tab on the industry as well. You will likely be helped by Sofia Pravdina who looks out for you once you start applying. The internship, offered at the end of the class, will give you sound experience that makes the transition to the real job a bit more manageable, in my humble opinion.

It really came to believing in yourself, the teachers, the school and the rest of course is luck. Do your best!
